Chum: As simple as it may look, it shows the simplicity of the cat's intelligence and life thus far. It also shows us how people think of Khajits, as but a cat, and not as a seperate race. As well as all this, it shows her two unique attributes, being an alcoholic and being able to cast fire at whim. I believe that the artist was trying to convey what the world thinks of Katia.

Toxic: On a game-related subject, here's a summary of events:

In short, there are a few things that prevent the game from being enjoyable. The main problem with it is the lag- I've tried workarounds for this but the major problem here is that this game is too big and has too many features for it to be a flash game. Other somewhat large problems are ease of saving and coding capabilities.

The main solution here is to change the platform that I work on. I've tried RPG maker and it's fine and all but I cannot change the theme to match Prequel's feel. I've been experimenting, and it may work in my favor to do something with Unity. If anyone has any suggestions for a new platform to make games on I'd appreciate it.

With the current situation, the game <i>could</i> be released but I don't want to present a laggy and unenjoyable game. So it would go without saying that release for any version for this game is postponed until I can get something working smoothly. Sorry if I let anyone down.

Kazerad: @Toxic: I've seen and made some pretty big Flash games! If you are running into lag, it probably means you are doing a lot of unnecessary stuff (e.g. drawing things nobody can see). A lot of times that isn't terribly difficult to fix without a complete rewrite.

Yeah, sorry to hear that. As far as I know flash can't handle well big amount of active objects.
Now, if you want, I can see what you got in terms of code. I studied programming in university and still do on my own, used actionScript in one of my projects, maybe I can find something that will help.
Also I currently figuring out unity and overall game development process, so maybe I can help you with that too.

Toxic: @Kazerad: I figured that was my problem. But considering that this is a beta, if I do make the game larger for anything afterward I fear that if I don't break the flash into smaller levels then the lag problem will continue to grow.

Glandziu: @Toxic Unity hosts plenty of games already, and it is really easy to use, at least from personal experience. It comes with a code editor (if you haven't got any). If you plan to change the platform, I say go for Unity.
