DAEDRIC FUN TIP:
Tag the damned artists. If you do not know the artist, attempt a quick image search before leaving the tag blank.

Streetwind: Another interesting statistic would be in terms of content, not just in terms of update frequency. Even discounting fancy flash games, updates nowadays are many times the size of those right at the very beginning.

Lowenkrieger: @Streetwind: I thought of that as well, but I found the third axis too hard to implement. I might make a more detailed version in the future once I figure out an effective measure to represent content.

Purrgatory indeed.

Enheldor: @Toryu-Mau: *Great Merch Hiatus

Purrgatory is the name of the comments section of the most recent update. The almost 2-year long wait for Infiltrate is the Great Merch Hiatus.

Radkey: Very nice. I want Kaz to put this up on his wall along with his "Draw more cats" poster.

tronn: @Lowenkrieger: Measure content by how many mbytes of data the text, pictures, and flash combined each update contains.

Kazerad: @tronn: I like this, you've finally found a way to make the graph trend upward.

- Reply
Lowenkrieger: @tronn: Hmm, I like that idea too! I'm probably gonna do the average update size per month so the update quantity doesn't skew the results.
But I still need to decide how exactly I'm gonna tally up all that data..

tronn: @Kaz: You're the only one who can make the graph trend upward :/

LuminosityXVII: @tronn: C'mon. I know the hiatus was long, but the Kazinator deserves mad respect for the ridiculous amount of ambition and effort that's gone into this thing. I wanna see this graphed by mbytes.

LuminosityXVII: Come to think of it, it's worth noting that Homestuck had several hiatuses (hiati? hiatae?) that stretched for 200+ days each, and that was with a relatively huge crew of artists helping out.

Looks to me like Kaz put his heart and soul into Infiltrate, and god damn if it doesn't deserve all the kudos I can possibly give to an artist. I know if I got hit with the inspiration to make such a gorgeous monstrosity of an update, I'd want to be afforded the time it'd take to make it properly.

Raydio: @LuminosityXVII: We need more positive people like you here.

LuminosityXVII: @Raydio: Aww, you're gonna make me blush!

I like to help out where I can.
