Azmeltosh: a new adventurous pose! probably only works at cetain angles
i wanted to do more perspective practice. this one actually turned out okay
anyway random question i was thinking of. if you were to meet Ket what would you say? you camt introduce yourself by saying youre one of the voices in her head because either you dont prove it and she thinks youre crazy or you do prove it by telling her to eat a book and then she wont want to talk to you. but if you just tell her how you appreciate how much she tries and think shes awesome shed probably get confused and default to thinking youre one of the people she slept with while hammered
hexTerminator: it depends on at what point we catch her.
i've given this hipothetical some thought, in one of my many fake scenarios to daydream about in the shower, specifically from a point in time of the day of Our Glorious Rock, purely cuz it's the highest high in her story where nothing's happening.
i'd probably stare from afar for long enough to get spotted, and Then try to talk to her after she sees me as some weirdo, as a way to lower expectations of me. i'd ask for a sweetroll, and then ask about Quentin, to make her think she lost her mind, then gaslight by denying i've said anything about Quentin.
i'm normal and experience fiction in a restrained and non-delusional way, pinky promise.
FunkyFreshFellow: I do think her left leg is kinda jutting out weird, but weird perspectives like this are always pretty awkward to draw. I don't know if there's any particular references for this angle I can think of, so maybe it's worth looking into stuff like rotating 3D models for a good perspective/posing reference. Or getting one of those poseable wood guys artists have sometimes....
But I like Katia's face and her enthusiasm about pointing. She's so confident!
hexTerminator: perhaps the torso is a little too short, or maybe it doesn't point in a way that the legs have the correct angle for the perspective's Field of View
Auserr: @Azmeltosh: Hmm.. I've never attempted to critique art before. I'll give it a shot though! I think the thing with her leg might actually be mostly caused by the orientation of her foot? Like if her foot was facing more straight towards the viewer I think it might look a bit more natural.
Another thought is that her hand would probably be obstructing her shoulder from view, assuming she's supposed to have her arm outstretched straight. And if you do that maybe have her hand pointing more towards the viewer as well? Alternatively you could keep her hand pointing the same direction but make it a bit smaller and show more of her arm.
Those are pretty minor things though, I think it's a good drawing! Perspective is something I struggle with also, so I don't know if my advice will be of much value.
