Magistank: Long story short, I recently got back into Oblivion and one of the mods I have is Companion Share and Recruit, which allows NPCs with a high enough disposition to become followers. So after making the objectively superior choice at the end of A Rat Problem, I now have Quill-Weave as a pack mule companion to pick all the locks my character Shogug gro-Zuraah is too fat-fingered to.
