PermanentFace: @Sashimi: I keep mine nicely folded up in a drawer, where it will suffer no wear or tear.

...What do you mean that defeats the purpose?

- Reply
PermanentFace: This really is a wonderful piece of art. Best thing to come out of the merch drive, with the deck of cards a close second.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Ah, someone new has discovered the joys of Pseudonymous. I wish there was more from this person.

PermanentFace: @Toryu-Mau: The City by the Lake.

PermanentFace: The absolute spookiest of royalty.

PermanentFace: It's always had its lulls.

PermanentFace: We already do. "your_weird_oc"

PermanentFace: Most of Oblivion's faces are fine, from what I recall. There are some frighting ones, but mostly they're about par for the time.

Morrowind has the advantage of peoples faces basically being one polygon, so you can sketch something and just plaster it on.

PermanentFace: Out of curiosity, in what respect is Oblivion horrifying?

- Reply
PermanentFace: I honestly don't know where you people are getting the whole 'it being a prequel to Oblivion isn't fun because that would be predictable' thing. Even if we know the story is going to end with Katia being thrown in a cell to meet the uber-royalty himself, we can only speculate as to how that will happen or how she'll react to that meeting by the time it finally comes around.

Incidentally, I think it would be wonderfully ironic if the person who just absolutely hates Kvatch ends up being hailed, everywhere she fucking goes, as its savior.

---

I'm also going to take this opportunity to reiterate my opinion that the PC's actions in Oblivion were in fact performed by multiple characters, and the Champion is not necessarily Sheogorath, nor the Crusader, Listener, Gray Fox, Grand Champion, Master, nor Archmage. I suspect some overlap, however, and I hope Katia fulfills her dreams of being the mightiest wizard of them all in addition to her mythic responsibilities to the Empire and the Mundus.

PermanentFace: @madmanransom: You don't need to get into the whole dream thing or analyze Katia's 'level 0' abilities to expect Katia to become Champion. Do you know what this story is called?

Anyway, her being a dragonborn would make no sense whatsoever. I advise you not to speculate too wildly on the outlandish paths Katia's story might take when the clue is right there in the title.

PermanentFace: @Toxic: You were making a game based off a webcomic based off the fourth main game in a franchise. Stranger things have happened.

- Reply
PermanentFace: It's a bit strange to see Aggy with legs, but this is a remarkable piece of work.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Of course there will be more adventures for Katia, at least if she ends up in a certain Imperial cell! That's the whole point of this being a Prequel. I hope one day to see Katia off into her own adventures, preferably with a band of other potential PCs. Don't you think it makes more sense, after all, that more than one person accomplished all the things available to the player in Oblivion? Could the Crusader of the Nine and the successor to Sheogorath plausibly be the same person?

I think Gharug, Asotil, and pretty much any unaccounted-for Kvatch NPC has a chance of being a 'PC' at the time of Septim's death.

I would like to believe that Katia becomes Champion, but that the madgod finds some other champion. Stephane, perhaps, or Gharug.

PermanentFace: Undead bros.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Talos save us from such an ending. If Prequel is, in fact, a Prequel to Oblivion, then the only 'good' ending is Katia being thrown in an Imperial prison for some vague "mix-up with the watch." Only from there can she become the hero she needs to be.

PermanentFace: Ebony in Oblivion was gold-filigreed. Not very black at all.

But what's a platinum doing here?

- Reply
PermanentFace: I heard Katia Managan was ripped. I heard she had an eight pack.

- Reply
PermanentFace: It would probably be more popular if so many fans hadn't given up on it during the two year update famine.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Hey, I remember this controversy!

- Reply
PermanentFace: I think we decided on Sparkle for the tumblespider's name.

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Mhauhz: The tagging should now be back on track. I'm sorry if I alarmed anyone.

- Reply
PermanentFace: I enjoy this more than I should. Maybe I should go to bed.

- Reply
PermanentFace: This is indeed an excellent metaphor for Katia's progress.

'Progress.'

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Pineapplekat: I understand too well how addictive such projects can be. I'm offering this advice in good faith, and without any intent to cause offense.

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Rick2tails: Then let Kaz's will be done!

- Reply
PermanentFace: I checked back at the original terms and conditions page, and return now with the following commentary:

The questionable tag is meant to describe anything suggestive. It is NOT meant to describe pornography, because pornography shouldn't even be on this website. Our friend Katia provides an example of questionable art as maybe having a bit of nudity that isn't really explicit. This image contains a bit of nudity that isn't really explicit. Therefore, I conclude that our friend Katia would wish for us to tag this image 'questionable'.

Violence and strong language, incidentally, are condoned as non-questionable in the terms and conditions, in addition to anything "as tame (or tamer) than the comic itself." I would like to note that the comic itself does have a bit of nudity, but never to my recollection in an implicitly suggestive way.

It may be that Kazerad should just be allowed the final say and we should stop bickering about which images should be presented on the index with a pineapple over the front.

PermanentFace: So we've got one picture of Tumblespider. I expect the rest of you artists to continue in Raydio's footsteps and produce more art of this wonderful character.

Maybe it can join up with Sworddog and Welkytty.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Eyes a bit wonky. Not sure what else there is to complain about.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Hey, pass the bottle. You're not the only one under pressure here.

- Reply
PermanentFace: I'm sorry to hear I appear obsessive. I don't go out of my way to look at Sashimi's pictures, but when I do I sometimes choose to comment.

I also have no intention of starting a fanwar, though I suppose I can see how it might conceivably happen if other people were to flock to my 'side.' Not that it's much of a side. I don't believe in Sashimi's backstory and I would like to see Rajirra get punched in the face and maybe also die in a fire. That's it.

I'm not calling for him to get banned or his artwork to get removed. I'm not saying you're a Nazi sympathizer for liking Rajirra or wanting her to be good all along. I'm just trying to have some fun on this booru by hamming up my dislike for a character I dislike. If that bothers you, then I'm sorry, and I'll try not to do it so often.

PermanentFace: Your fave is problematic, Sashimi.

But seriously, I'm just a grumpy old man whom you're welcome to ignore. Like whatever characters you want to like.

I retain the right, however, to view those characters as they are presented in the actual story, and to view any second-degree fan-fiction intended to present them more favorably as ridiculous.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Liking a flawed character is fine. Constructing an elaborate fanon backstory to justify your love for this flawed character borders on the obsessive.

PermanentFace: @Lowenkrieger: Finally!

PermanentFace: You reverse-Godwin'd. You compared your waifu to Hitler.

- Reply
PermanentFace: More Rajirra apologism. And do we really need the Sashimi_Story tag now that we have pools?

- Reply
PermanentFace: Here we see known-asshole Rajirra menacing a defenseless Argonian with an edged weapon.

- Reply
PermanentFace: @lllxBL4ZExlll: Your logic is valid. This is a lesson we should all aspire to live by.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Always a pleasure.

- Reply
PermanentFace: @LuminosityXVII: In case you forget she's a cat.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Behold a monster, one who does not yet understand its fate.

- Reply
PermanentFace: Rajirra literally pick-pocketed Katia Managan. She is a criminal.

What do you think of Sigrid?

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Sashimi: If you wish to see someone rise about their traumatic past and damaged soul, look to Katia Managan. Rajirra is what happens when a character gives up and chooses to become a vile person. Even if she has been through as much as Katia (which I rather doubt), she is quite clearly unwilling to 'enjoy life' as anything other than the criminal scum she is.

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Raydio: No, I don't. Should I?

- Reply
PermanentFace: @Sashimi: The problem is that she has always seen Katia as less than her - someone unworthy of her time or her sympathy. She will never solicit forgiveness from someones she has determined to only look down upon.

- Reply
PermanentFace: I do not know this character or the circumstances of the scene, so I do not know exactly how to tag it.
