bluedraggy: The High Priestess. "A card of mistery, stillness and passivity" Suggests time to retreat and reflect on the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you through it. Things around you are not what they appear.
Obviously I took some liberties here. Originally I was going to have her robed, but... well. I'm bluedraggy I guess. Represents:Desirability, unattainability, mystery, sensuality, spirituality, thirst for knowledge, mystery, subconscious, higher power, creativity, fertility
When finished, I wasn't going to actually use this in the tarot since it might be considered too questionable. However, after some persuasion decided to go for it - but only uncensored as, imho, any High Priestess isn't going to bow to morality, she sets morality.
Censored in the group collage made sense though. I didn't want the whole thing to get a questionable tag if avoidable. But I feel like holding firm on keeping her uncensored here as I think it's kind of important to what she represents.

Symbols: Crescent Moon under her feet connects to the horned cow goddess Hathor and the maiden stage of the maiden/mother/crone goddess archetype.
Flowing robe symbolizes the flow of life, water, tides, the blue of it indicates intuition, active and passive forces as well as higher learning.
The pillars are normally black(B) and white(J) but instead I chose to invert the ridges to separate them so one is concave, the other convex.
The B and J stand for Boaz and Jachin - the two front columns of Solomon's Temple. The pomegranate in the curtain behind her represents the female or feminine principle. The palm leaves represent
the male or masculine principle. The equal-armed cross was a 4th century religious symbol but more inclusinve and mystical representation than the
typical Latin cross. Other symbols I've chosen to leave off. And maybe add the symbol on her throne. It represents catgirls with boobs and tails. :)
As for the pose, any similarity between it and a scene from Basic Instinct is entirely intentional.

As for why Ra'jirra... well, she does represent a balance of dark and light - which is evidenced by her still controversial story arc.
Plus she's a hottie.

bluedraggy: Oh shoot. Left off the card border. Will get that fixed soon.

Furmidable: She had a controversial story arc? News to me.

PermanentFace: A balance of dark and light? What light exactly does she bring to the table, besides being a long-haired cat girl over whom some people would like to project an air of canonically absent tragic innocence?

PermanentFace: Also, am I the only one who finds it a little weird how many pictures of her nipples we have on this site? It's not a popular subject, with Katia only having four that I'm currently aware of, and this is at least Rajirra's third. I've been working through the last dozen or so pages of pictures on this site, adding and adjusting tags, so I've had cause to take note of the tag's distribution.
