Gren: @KuroNeko: Cool thanks. Yeah I see now I have such a shitty memory. Anyway, I take it they are still together but likely on a break until Quill sort out her feelings. It's not like Kazerad has delved enough into this to even call it a side-plot so I'm not going to venture too much about what's going on with QW other than suppose she's either too shy or too coward to give the next step on their relationship.
Gren: @KuroNeko: Are they still together? It's been years since I reread the story so maybe you can refresh my memory. I remember Quill was kind of depressed because she no longer knew what the status of her relationship with Casta was. It was hinted back then that Quill and Casta had a falling out and now they were distanced. I believe it has something to do with Casta refusing to be open up about her sexuality or she was not ready to make their relationship public. Or was it that Casta rejected her advances and now her relationship became somewhat awkward? Whatever the case that was the reason she was relying so heavily in booze as far as I know.
Gren: @KuroNeko: Is it canon really? I mean, it's been a long time since I played the game but as far as I knew it was never stated that they were anything more than friends with a shared passion for literature. Neither that they were actually gay. Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with that but in my humble opinion Kaz just decided to take some liberties for the sake of storytelling (same thing with the "gay elves" brothers and several other NPCs that were included in Prequel).
Gren: @ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: First off, we don't know his actual age. Even if he's that old I fail to see the problem. But I feel somehow you're trying to tell me that shipping Katia with a middle aged white man is any worst than pair her with a lesbian lizard or a necrophiliac black dude.
It's not as if all the other characters that people tend to ship her with are any younger either. Stephane is likely the only exception who I assume is in his late twenties (and that's still a huge gap since Katia is 19/20). QW, Gahrug and ASOTIL are surely over 30. Dmitri is old enough to have grey hair. Nah has been around at least since the second era.
Gren: @YaoiPigeon: And I must be the only person who ship her with Gaius. Their interactions are pretty darn funny and plus he has mage beard! Also, SWORDDOG!
Gren: @Toryu-Mau: You can't soultrap your own soul into a soul gem and then enchant an object with it WHILE YOU'RE DEAD.
Not to mention the ring already has a minor fire shield enchantment on it.
Gren: @AMKitsune: Whether or not Katia is the Hero of Kvatch she's still the protagonist of this story, and that makes her a "Hero". Since Dmitri is likely associated with a future quest, he may as well be an "essential character" which means he cannot die until the quest is over. I wouldn't be surprised if Kazerad actually meant to poke fun of another silly game mechanic.
Gren: @Odes: Yeah, that guy was his last descendant who died under some rocks when the cave collapsed, but we never get to see his ghost. Aggy was there to "guardian" him, you know, telling the same shit he did with Katia. He's been doing this since a while ago as we could see in the last side story.
Gren: where's Gharug? Where's Gauis and Sword-dog? Tavia and Tierra? Countess Umbranox? Lelles? Crazy poison lady? Capital S? Gay elves? "Enchantment" lizard? Welkynd kitty? This is thoroughly incomplete and you should be ashamed! I mean, how could you ever forget Landorumil? He's the very essence of this comic!
