And yes that is mostly what I intended for the boots, as I first drew her naked for anatomy and was later to lazy to draw the boots normally. Well technically my idea was that her boots have the nose cut off for the toes, but now that I look at it, the feet part clearly wasn't boot-like at all, toe part cut off or not, so I think this interpretation is actually better!

Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Technically I just used a study I found on deviantart as a reference https://www.deviantart.com/vixenkiba/art/-Pose-Study-01-Pole-Dancing-505722561. If you are good at gesture drawing, and have at least some anatomy knowledge, making drawings like these off of references isn't too hard (just don't trace, tracing is for losers).
I'd say making this was a lot more fun than doing the kind of drawings I usually post. It's like as you push more polish into a drawing, at some point it kinda falls over an uncanny valley. Sketches are like on the peak at the left of the valley, well inked, colored (and probably even shaded) drawings are on the right peak. As I make a sketch into a final drawing, I sometimes can't help but feel as the drawing was getting worse, and only after a considerable amount of work does it start to look better than it could have as a sketch. But that's a lot of time and effort.

and yeah I know what you mean, someties when I start inking my sketches, It feels like a downgrade and only when everything is inked, colored and shaded that I can see the improvement.

Atum_Doxhun: Would like to apologize in advance to Makkon for using his style and design without permission. I like their work a lot and thought if I was able to use it in some extent into pics I would like to see be made.

Makkon: They say emulation is the highest for of flattery, I'm not upset. I think this is a great drawing, but there's definitely some rough places where you didn't have reference (such as the legs and feet). Your proportions are good. Keep drawing and practicing, as you do you'll start to find your own artistic voice. Would definitely love to see more bender prequel characters!
