angrybacteria: @Radian: "oh, you woke up finally": If she ever really did make it big, it would be a pretty touching moment to see the old adventuring hero taking in some unfortunate lesser adventurer who stumbled in after losing everything yet again. Really, I've thought about what would be nice for her immediate future, but never what Katia's true endgame would be. I think the absolute finest ending, decades from now in her life, it would really cool if she retired to train the next generation of low tier down and out adventurers.

However, in a world where the phases of the moon (and for a time, it's very presence (or lack of)) can effect the eventual outcome of a conception, I'm going to have to hang up my science hat and say
