Cold-climate species have a thicker coat of smaller down hairs underneath the longer coat of guard hairs, and sometimes have a third coat of medium awn hairs between the two. Species from hotter climates, like Khajiit, may have thinner or nonexistant down hair, leaving them vulnerable to the cold. It's like how our own hair is useful for keeping our scalp from getting sunburned, but is utter $#!? at insulating our heads from freezing temperatures.

protofun: Saw a comic about Night in the Woods and instantly thought about Prequel (Since I never played NITW and Cat-Reptile discussion can only call prequel references in my head) So I downloaded Paint.NET and spent 15 minutes redrawing this. Have totally no expirience in drawing on PC and pretty satisfied with the end result
