Katia vs Vivec

Rated M for "Move along, citizen"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katia entered the throne room—the pinnacle of Vivec's palace—in the city which he had so humbly named after himself. The Warrior-Poet was hovering a few feet above the floor at the center of his temple. His was in a sitting position with his legs crossed and eyes closed, as if meditating. There was no one else there, and Katia was unsure of how to approach him. She walked closer. Even while sitting unmoving in the air, Vivec's presence was intimidating. He was wearing nothing but a loincloth and some ornate pieces of armor on his shoulders and arms. His chest was as chiseled as you would expect from the statue of a god. Vivec's skin color was split vertically through his body showing the duality of his being: left side Dunmer and right side Chimer. Katia continued closer, she felt uncomfortable saying something that would disturb him.
Just as Katia decided she had to speak up and introduce herself; Vivec opened his eyes—looking straight at her. She was caught off guard and stopped with her mouth open, but not able to speak.
"Welcome Hero, that is what they are calling you in Cyrodiil now, is it not?" Vivec's voice was deep and powerful. "I know why you have come."
"I... I am Katia Managan. If you know why I've come then you know we need your help," she said. Katia was nervous, but she found her confidence again and continued. "Mehrunes Dagon is waging war on all of Tamriel, not just Cyrodiil. Your own people—the Dunmer—are suffering too!" Katia said with a hint of desperation in her voice. "Yet you're just sitting here, when you could help us stop this evil from destroying the world!" She was scared, throwing accusations like this at someone so powerful.
"Your fears are not unfounded, and neither is your critique." He paused for a moment, closing his eyes. "I want to help. All I have ever wished for is to help my people. What you don't know is that when the Nerevarine defeated Dagoth Ur and destroyed the enchantments on the Heart of Lorkhan, I too lost my connection to the Heart and much of my power. Now I'm just a mortal like you."
"But you can still help!" Katia exclaimed. "The people of Morrowind trust you as their leader, you could bring them together in the fight against the Daedra."
"Protecting Morrowind was the job of the Nerevarine. Why she left even I do not know. I had honestly been looking forward to being mortal again, dedicated to my own amusements... But perhaps—" he placed a hand on his chin, and looked away for a moment, contemplating. "If you can prove yourself to be the leader—the Hero—that Tamriel needs, then I will support you."
Katia's face lit up with a smile. "Of course! What can I do to convince you?" Vivec stretched out his legs, and stood down on the ground. He took a few steps towards Katia.
"You'll have to defeat Muatra if you want my help," he said, and brandished his spear. It was pointing straight at Katia, inches from her face. But she did not back down.
"Don't underestimate me," Katia responded, not phased by his threatening display. She took a step back, and opened the clasp of her robe holding it in place. It fell to the ground, leaving Katia without much in the way of clothing. "Don't want that hindering my movement," she said as she readied her stance.
"Certainly," Vivec replied as he raised an eyebrow. "Ready yourself." Without another word he lunged forward with his spear. Katia was prepared, and managed to grab the shaft of Muatra with both her hands.
"I've dealt with bigger spears than yours you know." she said as they both struggled. Vivec groaned as Katia kept him in an iron grip, completely preventing him from moving.
"I see you have some experience with this," Vivec said in a strained voice. Then—with a twist of his body—he pulled loose and backed away. "You won't defeat me that easily."
"That was just the beginning," Katia said with a smile. Vivec jabbed his Spear forward again, aiming for her head. Katia was ready to deal with it, blow by blow.
Their dance continued for at least an hour, both of them expending all of their power—magic and physical. Sometimes Vivec seemed to be on top, other Times it was Katia, but no one could defeat the other.
"Haaa... Haah... Haah," Katia was panting loudly. Their sweaty bodies were tightly intertwined. Vivec was as exhausted as she was.
"Hnnng, I... I'm almost at my limit," his every word seemed like an immense effort. "This... Feeling. I've never felt like this before... I think—I'm going to CHIM!" Then, suddenly, he exploded all over her. Katia was completely covered in sticky white goop.
"What the fuck?" She stared blankly at the space where Vivec had been a second before. He was gone. Completely disappeared. All that was left was an ectoplasmic residue on the floor. "Where the fuck did he go?" She was in utter disbelief. Did he teleport away rather than admit defeat? What was it he said, CHIM? What the fuck is going on!? Katia was left there, with her fur wet and sticky and missing any feeling of fulfillment.
Little did she know, that what really had happened is that Vivec had Zero-Summed, after finally understanding the truth about universe, and rejecting it.
Authors footnote:
I wanted to practice writing a different kind of story. The fanfiction guidelines said "forego posting if it's too hot for the public library" so I wondered where the line would be drawn and looked up "50 shades of Grey" which I think is in libraries. That was a terrible mistake and I now wish I had some mind bleach, but the point is I'm never gonna come close to that level of filth so I wrote this thing instead.
