Brevity is the soul of wit. In essence, make anything the comes from your whelpling fingers be succinct, and that you don't overstay your welcome. Writing for too long can...
Kazerad: Wait I checked the partway-finished game download and I'm getting a malware warning on it :x. I'm removing the link for now until I have time to check if it's a false positive.
Kazerad: :0 oh wow, I missed a lot. For what it's worth, I feel like everyone involved has kept the conversation surprisingly cordial. It's interesting to see the perspectives clash, though I feel like I should apologize to Ofeerz that it's happening in the comments on his drawing. Sorry, this happens every once in a while, I think the last time was the pic of Katia holding a trans pride flag.
Anyway, like, Zargothrax and others have got at, I'm not opposed to the existence of lewd Katia art. Even the Weirder Stuff that gets made, I usually try take it in good humor; I've had other projects before Prequel and can say from experience that Rule 34 ("If it exists, there's porn of it") really is a constant no matter how obscure your stuff is, and as a creator you just have to get used to it. It also helps that I was in research psychology before art, so I'm used to watching people do weird things. At least personally, I'm not going to be upset at anything you guys make.
An argument could be made that art like this is against the comic's themes, but I feel like one of the major themes in the comic is that stuff doesn't fit neatly into categories. Every character has a lot of stuff going on, often in ways that seem contradictory (Katia's relationship with sexuality being a prime example), and entities like the Ideal Masters that would be antagonists in some contexts are effectively protagonists in the context of the story. To blanket-categorize any kind of art as good or bad would run against one of the comic's major messages, which is that people don't always come in simple packages.
Kazerad: Would you mind if I stick this on the comic's Twitter? I mentioned it on a few of the other drawings, but I said I'd try to reblog every picture of her I found until the next update is out.
Kazerad: :0 would you mind if I posted this on the comic's Twitter? I've been trying to reblog any pictures of her that come up there, but most of them are offsite (not sure if you have any alternate place this was uploded).
Kazerad: Do you have a Twitter perchance? In an attempt to use social media more, I told people that between now and the next update I was going to retweet any Guillemets I ran into. And if not, would you mind if I reposted/linked this there?
Kazerad: Oh no, am I going to have to do moderating? That is like the worst part of being a moderator.
I've seen very strong explanations from trans people about how Katia's struggles closely parallel their own, and while not intentional, it is something I can completely understand and see the parallels in. Functionally I wouldn't say it's too far removed from, say, one of the many drawings of Katia wearing Egyptian regalia because she and Bast are both anthropomorphic cats. You could validly say that she is not Egyptian, and the story/setting firmly establish she doesn't even know what Egyptian deities are, but it doesn't lessen the parallel for those of us who recognize it.
Moderation is difficult because I know if I explicitly say "this is fine", there's going to be people posting drawings of Katia waving various flags just to see which ones get removed as to ascertain where the exact line is. I can understand where this particular one is coming from, though, and don't think it's a place of malice or provocation, which is really the only thing I care about. I want to leave room for people to be gently political or disagree with one another because I think that is how people learn about others; like, NotGod's description of transpeople as greedily hoarding all the genders suggests a likely different view of the topic that someone like the artist probably has. At the same time though I probably should intervene and say accusations like "brainwashing" are too far, and that any discussion should be kept cordial and under the assumption that others are in equally capable and only differ in experiences/perspectives?
I want everyone to get along well enough that I don't have to make actual rules, at least periodically removing the occasional piece of hardcore pornography.
Kazerad: @Robbyn: Aaaaaaa that means a lot! It's always neat to hear when something small has a big impact on someone, and I'm touched to hear it kept you drawing.
Kazerad: I deleted a few comments here just because I try not to advertise my non-Prequel stuff that much :x. I'm still kind of dealing with a thing where a stalker tracked me to other places I do work and has been causing problems for people there too.
Kazerad: @FonkDerok: I try not to really advertise it, but I stream sometimes on Picarto. A while back I told the stream I'd buy them RPG Maker and show them how to use it, and then the example game I was making got carried away. It's not a major project or replacing Prequel or anything.
Kazerad: @Tabby_Catface: A lot of kids don't know! Star Wars has faded a lot in popularity among younger people, and the old movies still hold up, so it has re-entered spoiler territory.
Kazerad: @bluedraggy: If you mean the story getting removed and then put back, it's not your fault! We've gotten a little too trigger-happy with "hide potentially-rulebreaking things while the mods discuss it", which to everyone else just looks like things are getting deleted.
Kazerad: @KuroNeko: Story idea: hero loses parents to a food allergy and makes it her life's goal to slice, dice, and put flame to that food whenever possible. At the end of the story, she realizes in horror that she has become a chef, preparing her hated food so well that everyone loves it.
Kazerad: @KuroNeko: I wish more games implemented the flying kick from Lugaru, where if it doesn't connect you just ragdoll embarrassingly onto the ground.
Kazerad: @Klonia_Managan: I'm okay with all the images, but I feel bad for the person who posted that Infinity Gauntlet image like right before you, and now is halfway down Page 2. Maybe next time through, combine some of the aesthetically similar ones into sheets of sketches?

Honestly though this captures her head shape surprisingly well compared to most humanization I've seen.

Just draw Quill-Weave into them or something so it counts as an edit.
