scoopski: @PermanentFace: My theory is that that's the point when it shifted gears and became something more. More refined artstyle, less of a MSPA vibe, and doing more with Flash than just adding sound to a scene.
I heard that it was also started when Kaz was in high school; it's fairly likely he'd have started college and adulthood around 2012/2013, thus leaving less time to work on the comic (even though the comic is his main source of income, he's gotta merchandise and get commissions.).

PermanentFace: If you go back and look, though, there are plenty of high-quality features and panels in the updates that occurred before then. It's not the quality that's holding it back.

And free handing straight lines on objects can end up looking wonky and continue at odd angles when obscured behind objects in the foreground, so using a ruler to put a temporary line before committing to drawing the actual outline would help with continuity. >):^]

Raydio: I was a huge fan of her character tbh, and would love to see a hate-love friendship between her and katia

realbboy: @Sashimi: To be honest I don't think there's much you can do to make me sympathize with a character that mocks Katia for preparing, then "rats out" (that's roughly the caption her running away is giving in the flash), bars the door so Katia can't escape dying to the imp (she has so little respect for Katia and almost certainly expected her to die), and then flat out lies to the shopkeeper, which stops the shopkeeper from getting help or the fighter's guild guy from going up to help/save Katia.

I honestly don't know what she was expecting. If Katia dies then someone is eventually going to find out, and possibly get hurt in the process. She also incriminated herself by talking to the shopkeeper. So she either plans to skip town and get a new identity, or she's not that smart.

If she had actually gone to get help, she would have returned with that help by the time Katia finished messing around trying to get out and shopping.

Still, I look forward to reading your fanfic. Not everything has to line up with canon to be good, in fact the best fanfics usually diverge from it.

I better get back to writing, but she's not an evil character, it's not like she intended to betray Katia, it's only after things went wrong with the huge imp appearing, that she freaked out and ran. She was terrified and not thinking clearly. Kaz even confirmed that in a recent stream. If she had known about the other imp and kept her wits about her, I'm believe things would have been quite different.

Sashimi: I just learned something about the significance of a flower worn by the ear today, apparently in Hawaiian culture, if it's worn on the left, it means the lady is married, or otherwise unavailable. If it's on the right, then she's approachable. I had no idea of any significance as to what side it should be on when this was made, but it actually works for the purpose of the story that it's on the left, as she's involved with someone.
