Zargothrax: @nat: Nice drawing!
As for anything canonical on the matter, Katia once said (maybe in excelsior?) that she's never seen an other cat-like khajiit before. But I don't recall her ever saying anything about siblings...
Zargothrax: She's either drunk again, or acquired some chameleon skills here. And a cursor on the hand.
Wait, you just drew one half of her, then mirrored that vertically, didn't you? No wonder she ended up cross-eyed
Zargothrax: This is a pretty great and unique looking Quill, I like it!
I suspect, the artist put quite the amount of work into it, pushing the boundaries of their capabilities. Admirable, and I've got to say, it payed off!
Zargothrax: Updated the tags.
@bluedraggy: Now that's something that I'd like to see, thanks for putting such effort into the technical details of this!
Zargothrax: I've just noticed that she leans so far to the left side of the image, that everything that makes this questionable is still visible on the thumbnail, because the censoring pineapple only covers the middle.
I've outsmarted the censorship.
Zargothrax: My entry for Bluedraggy's pinup calendar collaboration (month: January). (In jpg, as the png version exceeds the file upload size limit of the booru)
The idea was a Maine Coon Katia, wearing her "winter coat".
Zargothrax: The sketch phase of Katia is unnaturally clean and non-sketchy to my eyes XD
Great drawing, I've seen significant improvement in your art since you joined!
Zargothrax: (I'll let the mods decide if this is to be tagged as 'questionable', 'character:Katia_Managan' (only her fingers are on the image), 'imminent_death', or 'imminent_jelly-neck-time')
Zargothrax: @Skybolt06: Thank you! I'm doing my best.
@APayne1776_2: Cat burns cut deeper when it comes to Katia. So the K word worked better.
@ADudeCalledLeo: Thanks! And yes, I had to make Rajirra have knowledge of Katia's past actions, to be able to roast at maximum efficiency.
@KuroNeko: Ty. Yes I can see that with the bubbles. (There's no BG though, that's just the canvas.) White bubbles usually work much more seamlessly when there's properly painted background everywhere, but to me that was out of scope.
@semiafro007, @Rick2tails: Indeed.
Zargothrax: @ADudeCalledLeo: This is something everyone here should know! Flashpoint is a (mostly) open source Flash game archival project, you can get it here: https://bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/, and yes, it contains all Prequel games. One thing to note though: Excelsior and the Tavia shop games were flagged as 18+, so you can only see them if you enable extreme content in the settings.
I'd go even further, Flashpoint should probably be mentioned under the Flash games in the comic, since it's a much better alternative than watching a walkthrough on youtube. (or, y'know, use ruffle emulator on the site) And thanks! I'm just starting out with backgrounds and landscapes. Don't have much experience there.
Zargothrax: On December 31 Adobe stopped support for Flash player, but it was only today, on January 12th, when they actually sent the bullet through the head of their own creation.
It has been bleeding from innumerable wounds for years, while inadvertently holding back open standards like HTML5 and WebAssembly from finally taking its place. Nevertheless, it played a major part in what we know as Prequel today.
Press F to pay respects.
Zargothrax: Just a random thought (suggestion, take it or leave it) on the tagging problem mentioned:
If tags that are only used once could have red letters that could bring attention to something that is probably a mistake.
I mean, 95% of the time when a new tag is introduced, it's something that we already have a tag for, thus the entry will actually end up missing the tag(s) the artist intended it to have.
