Zargothrax: Really impressive all around! She's adorable.

Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Thanks! I don't want to take too much credit for the splash though. I googled something like "cartoony splash" then referenced one of those. My attempts without using a reference looked awful. As for the design, it just came out that way, my style is still far from well defined.
@bluedraggy: She is, and thank you! And to clarify here a little (and why the racism tag was needed), here is the reference I was using when drawing this:

The idea came from the mechanic in Oblivion that allowed the player to "run" on top of deep water once they reach 100 in acrobatics.
And a fun-fact: There was a first attempt at drawing her legs, which resembled the original image a lot more closely, but it looked so broken I had to discard it. Then, I referenced hurdlers.

Zargothrax: I have several long-time unfinished drawings, some of which I decided to finally make at least presentable instead of letting them fade into oblivion. This is the first one.
Some of you may recall that Quill is an acrobatics trainer in game. This is her at level 100 in acrobatics.

Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: She's just like me then. Ketchup is the blessed blood of the Gods, gifted to mankind, change my mind.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Nice re-imagination of the cloak of grey tomorrow!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Katia hoarding a bathtub-worth of ketchup is probably more disturbing than evil Quill stealing it all.

- Reply
Zargothrax: This is probably the most iconic portrait of her. I have to say, to me, looking at this image is just a little nostalgic.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Dayum, that's one manly Katia! The runes and the belt look pretty damn good. I also have a Witcher crossover drawing half finished. I think I'll try to finish it now, since we have this already.

- Reply
Zargothrax: I wonder how a VR headset designed for eyeballs of this size would look like. And yeah, pretty good drawing!

Zargothrax: @JohnnyCheesedog: When a dramatic description is submitted, there should be a check for occurrences of specific sites, and if any are found, the page should redirect to a picture of an angry imperial guard yelling something like "Stop right there criminal scum! Nobody mentions that site under my watch! I'm confiscating your comment."

Zargothrax: Day "28"

- Reply
Zargothrax: Pretty damn atmospheric drawing!

- Reply
Zargothrax: *would be appropriate

- Reply
Zargothrax: @bluedraggy: Careful. What is and isn't canon has little significance in what is or should be allowed. Otherwise one third of the current boruu content would be inappropriate in that regard and about half the content on Katia from monosodium glutamate would be.
Nice job on the coloring though! It's not everyday we see a fully colored comic posted.

Zargothrax: @Caps: @Dominik: Thank you.
I know very little about firearms, just drew something similar to the reference.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Reminds me of pangolins, with the big scales on the tail. And the head became a lot more dragon-like, pretty nice! Wonder what this specimen hoards.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Didn't see THAT coming That concept alone could breach the barrier between TES and Fallout.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Thanks. As I said this was a gesture drawing. Had I had no reference, drawing in this angle would've been a lot more difficult.
The suit was probably the most fun to do. I made it dark grey first, then added a multiply layer for shadows and a color-dodge for the highlights, then added a hue-saturation-lightness filter to the color and the highlight layer. The result? I already painted everything, and was still able to change the color, lightness and saturation of the suit and the light source in retrospect, experiment with them until I find a combination I like. This is why I love digital. Given your workflow, you can separate concerns, and deal with them in a lot more flexible manner.
@Rick2tails: Thank you!

- Reply
Zargothrax: I was doing gesture drawings one day, and one of them turned out pretty good, so I decided to turn it into a younger Quill, clean it up, detail, and color it.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Best use for an Apple product, good work!

- Reply
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: To me, looks almost like rusted metal (probably because of the square shape (like plates) and the color obviously), which lends it a pretty unique look, I like it! Also, dem hips... nice.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Coloring is hard but you definitely nailed it! Nice anatomy and pose too.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Mistakes were made. Lets hope the implied poverty of eating from the floor balances the implied royalty out.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Glitter!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Funny how you always manage to surprise the boruu with something unexpected!

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Rick2tails: She already did take one of a kind. BLOODBATH!!!

- Reply
Zargothrax: We're way past the point where any sane person would stop, but let's keep going and see what happens.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Aww, this is so adorable! Unique style too!

- Reply
Zargothrax: So majestic!
In my opinion it's also pretty dream-like.

- Reply
Zargothrax: We are incapable of comprehending the artistic greatness in this masterpiece. It's beyond us, we have to accept, our understanding on "Art" is just too shallow.

- Reply
Zargothrax: The face and the expression is oddly Tim Burton styled to me, I love it!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Brutal! Thanks for the art, KuroNeko.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @KNOWNvictor: Good job, all three of you!

- Reply
Zargothrax: @lapma: The might of the Imperial Legion does have that effect on people true. But would you risk facing their wrath over it?
@Kazerad: @KuroNeko: Thanks! I used Arnie as a reference. A One Man Army, just like legionaries when they see you lift someone's apple by approximately 0.0001 mm.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Decided to join the recent trend/"revolution". Am I doing it right guys?

- Reply
Zargothrax: @jlm: Thank you. I had an a other version in mind where Vaermina was a psychiatrist and Endless was laying on a couch, but I couldn't make it work, it looked terrible. I liked this idea better as it was more emotional.

@Caps: Since I didn't notice the halo burning away, all I saw was that I'm shooting and she doesn't take damage. Which was unsurprising to me considering Vaermina tells you in the beginning that the boss will block all attacks.

@dragon_RT: Good to know! There is a part where there is a row of fire on the top and the bottom, and it's full chaotic in between. Never got past that.

- Reply
Zargothrax: She's so adorable when drunk. And sober. And in general.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Caps: She payed in advance. For me it took like 30 deaths to realize that the boss actually takes damage. (before that I thought you have to survive for a period of time, then some scripted event wins for you)

- Reply
Zargothrax: I know this was just supposed to be a joke, but, nice job on the swamp, TempIntel. It does manage to get the atmosphere across pretty well.

- Reply
Zargothrax: This was inevitable in retrospect. Thanks Kuro. And Rick.

Also I'd like to quietly mention that I did the nightmare king in a dress once, although I was following a different trend there >>5661

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Kazerad: That's like Spec Ops: The Line, but even more depressing.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Tabby_Catface: careful, cats are afraid of cucumbers.

- Reply
Zargothrax: I love how derpy mine is
But in all seriousness, thank you for including me, it gives a warm, fuzzy feeling. No homo.

- Reply
Zargothrax: How unbecoming to herself
Lets hope she doesn't suffer a self-induced a panic attack.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Hard to decide what's sweeter, Katia or the sweet roll

- Reply
Zargothrax: To me, this drawing has some odd Dark Souls vibes. A twisted ashen Kat dancing in the dark flames of the Abyss... Could be even more dramatic if her expression was completely blank and lifeless.
(No offense, I like this drawing, it's just what it reminds me of)

- Reply
Zargothrax: reminds me of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEaso_MWcbs

Zargothrax: People who smoke usually have the stench stuck in their hair, and beard. Can't imagine the consequences if your whole body is covered in fur.

- Reply
Zargothrax: A french maid outfit, eh? Unmistakable reference.

- Reply
Zargothrax: She'd have made great friends along the other cats.
