Blade
A blade is an edged instrument designed for use in melee combat and/or an agent of the Emperor's personal guard and secret police.
At the turn of the 3rd Era, common blade weaponry included daggers, shortswords, longswords and claymores. Use of such weapons fell under the purview of the 'Blade' skill, which was one of 21 officially recognized by the Imperial Bureau of Video Game Mechanics.
